Building a future
for your heirs.
Wills, trusts, and probate for Treasure Valley families. We build the plan, settle the estate, and defend it in court if it is ever challenged.

Best Lawyers names one Lawyer of the Year per specialty, per city, per year; Sandra was named for Trusts and Estates in 2014 and for Litigation, Trusts and Estates in 2017. Its listings are decided by peer review. She was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1991.
Thirty-four years of Idaho estate law, practiced out of Eagle.
Sandra L. Clapp was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1991 and has practiced estate law here ever since. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America every year since 2003, and in 2022 the Idaho State Bar gave her its Professionalism Award.
The firm has planned, settled, and defended Treasure Valley estates ever since. The lawyers who draft the plan are the same ones who stand up for it in court.
We build the plan.
Your will, your family trust, your wishes, drafted so they hold and explained so they make sense. Most families leave the first meeting understanding their own estate for the first time.
We defend it in court.
Few estate firms both draft the plan and litigate to protect it. When a fiduciary oversteps or a will is contested, the plan meets a lawyer who already knows the family. Planning and litigation, under one roof.
Six kinds of work, one firm that does all of them.
Estate work is never one document. It is the right counsel at each turn, from the first will a young family signs to the day an estate is settled or defended.
Wills
Names who raises your children and who inherits what. The first plan every family should have.
ii.Family Trusts
Keeps your estate private and out of probate, and puts you in control of how and when it passes.
iii.Probate
We settle the estate step by step, so you can grieve instead of chasing paperwork.
iv.Estate Litigation
A contested will, a trust dispute, a personal representative abusing their power. We defend it in court.
v.Elder Law
Guardianship and conservatorship, for the moments a loved one can no longer decide alone.
vi.Business Succession
Keeps a family business in the family, and out of a courtroom, when leadership changes hands.
Thirty-eight families have said it better than we can.
“Sandra Clapp advised my wife and I on my mother’s estate and drafted wills for us. When the personal representatives from the estate began abusing their power, Sandra stepped in and defended our rights. Yes, she is expensive, but worth it because when she is in your corner the job will get done right!”Tim Little · Google review
